Circling the Square

In Margaret Atwood’s short story, Simmering, she describes a future world where men rule the kitchen and women are designated to sit in the living rooms on the sidelines. If women were meant to be in the kitchen, the men reasoned, then knives would have been shaped round, with holes in them. Circling the Square is my attempt in warding off such a disastrous future.
